Staged® homes sell faster and/or for more money and it usually doesn't cost any (or much)  money, mainly a little time and energy on your part to create space for Buyers to mentally move their own things in.  The way you live in your home and the way we market and sell your house are two different things! 

What is Staging®?

Staging is not interior decorating.  It is preparing your home for sale.  When you sell you're going to have to move and when you move you're going to have to pack, so we're just going to pack up a few things early!  By removing items from the house, you reduce the amount of clutter making the rooms look bigger.  Sure, we may move items around, even between rooms, but our ultimate goal is to produce a clean, clutter-free home that is ready to show to prospective buyers.  Most buyers only know what they see, not the way it's going to be.  So we are going to help them.  There are a couple of sayings in the business:

• You can't sell it if you can't see it! 

• If we can smell it, we can't sell it!

• A $10 gallon of paint in a bucket is worth $1,000 on the wall!

• Plants are like children, they grow up.

We want to keep buyers from finding an excuse to lower the price.

Why Staging® Works

When you get ready to place a home on the market for sale it becomes a product, and just like any product on the shelves at your local store it has features and benefits, pluses and minuses, and there are other products to compete with.  To gain an edge in your marketplace you must be priced right and look better than the competition.  Sometimes it's difficult to think of a home as a mere product, but it helps to think that way in order to get top dollar for the home and sell it in a reasonable amount of time.

As Americans, we live busy lives and most buyers don't want to have to put a lot of work in to moving into a new home.  Just like pre-packaged foods in the grocery store or fast food restaurants, we want to be able to buy and enjoy.  Staging® pre-packages the house so a potential buyer can purchase, move and get on with life!
